How Craigslist Fees Affect Your Service Quote
For an accurate quote, send: what you offer, its real location, the appropriate category, distinct listings or inventory, requested volume, available photos and copy, and your preferred schedule. We confirm the campaign scope, CAPS work charge and Craigslist fees before you order.
For example, the listed CAPS work rate for a Services ad is $1, and Craigslist charges $5 for a US Services post. That is $6 for one new eligible post. Ten distinct eligible posts would total $60. This is a budgeting illustration, not a new minimum order or a promise of results; your quote confirms the campaign length and schedule.
Your quote combines the CAPS service price and any fee charged by Craigslist for the chosen category. The comparison below helps you budget for both. For the full platform-fee explanation, read does Craigslist charge to post?
Craigslist is free to post in many categories, including most ordinary items sold by owners and community listings. US services cost $5 per post, and jobs, gigs, dealer listings and some housing and vehicle categories also carry fees. Craigslist no longer has a personals section.
Whether you pay depends on the category and market. A US service business should budget for the $5 services fee. Charges are per post, not a Craigslist subscription. Our work is priced separately and any Craigslist fee is passed through at cost.
If it is mostly free, why use a posting service?
The fee is only part of the work. Managing your campaign takes time. Our packages cover manual posting, daily reporting and the 48-hour replacement policy. We agree the category, genuine locations and schedule before starting, with Craigslist fees passed through at cost.
